Marietta, Georgia. March 2020. My wife (A former EM in South America) just spotted this and said, “Is this you?” I don’t where it was taken, but probably on one of the South India brief encounters around 1980. Oddly enough 40 years later, I still have three of the items in the photo: The national health glasses, the watch, and the coral necklace. (A gift from one of the Sherpas in the Kathmandu office).
